I recently read a poem called “The Road Not Taken”. The poem is about a traveller who comes across a crossroad in which he is faced with two diverging paths. Each path appears equally worn, yet the traveller must choose. The decision is not about which path is better; it’s about the choice itself. There is a line in the poem “Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back” speaks to the irreversible nature of our choices.
I, too, am striving to be like the traveller who chooses the road less travelled. Since I completed my Reiki Level 2 and Master courses, my path has led to one of creativity, uniqueness, and boldness — a path I have never travelled on before! This journey has presented new opportunities to me that I would never have dreamt of, and I'm grabbing those opportunities with both hands knowing the universe is on my side. Sometimes, seemingly small choices have profound impacts, altering the course of our lives. Just as Frost wrote, “And that has made all the difference.”
I heard this quote many years ago and it has stuck with me: James 2:18 - Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
So, dear reader, what about you? Do you run with the crowd or seek the roads less travelled? 🌟
